Description

Chassis No 3, 1921 Bamford and Martin Prototype; third of the original five prototyped produced. Sometimes powered by a 16 valve engine which used a single over-head camshaft or a racing version of the side valve unit. It could be seen in a very steamlined racing 2-seat body or a 2-seat sporting body depending on the event entered. The chassis is stamped 1918 but also No.3 underneath.
The original starting handle, no longer required to start the engine, is now stored separately.The body shell on the car when it was purchased by the AMHT is also in storage separately.
