Dated 27 October 1989, it describes that the AMR1 cars will use an uprated 1990 specification engine at the Mexico round of the World Sports-Prototype Championship. Testing of the Version II engine has shown the cars are 5mph quicker on the Pit straight and improves lap times by 1.2 seconds. The AMR1 entry at Mexico would be driven by Brian Redman and David Leslie.
