Description
Aston Martin DB2 Drophead Coupe VMF 37, LML/50/10, roof up with a model standing in the open door. Behind are ornamental gardens and a curious box sitting on the lawn behind the car.
This particular car was effectively the prototype demonstrator. It was featured in Autocar magazine (Oct 13th, 1950), road-tested by 'Motor Sport' magazine in February 1951 and described in 'Country Life' magazine (5th January 1951). During 1952 it was David Brown's personal car and raced by his son (DB Junior) at Snetterton. The first production model was LML/50/11, a saloon.
