Brown lived at Cadmore End, Bucks on Chequers Farm (now named Chequers Manor), Chequers Lane.The stables were on the property and a set of Klemantaski photos of Brown with his horses in the stables is in the Archive. The nearby Chalgrove airfield served as his private airfield.
The farm is extant and in private ownership.
