Framed colour print '"Aston Martin World Champions" the Works Aston Martin DBR1, driven by Stirling Moss, blasts past the pits on the way to victory at the Goodwood TT. Stirling's win clinched the 1959 World Sports Car championship for the David Brown Aston Martin team, narrowly beating Ferrari. The Aston Martin team was made up of many of the great drivers of the era including Stirling Moss, Roy Salvadori, Jack Fairman, Carroll Shelby, Paul Frere and Maurice Trintignant.' Print is from an origianl oil painting by Keith Woodcock. Print is a limited edition 11/200 and signed by Jack Fairman, Roy Salvadori, Stirling Moss and Keith Woodcock.
On the day at Goodwood, this car was driven by Stirling Moss and Roy Salvadori. Another DBR1 was driven by Carroll Shelby and Jack Fairman. Moss's winning car, as shown in this painting, came in 1st at a speed of 89.41 mph.
